The base (4) may be screwed, or steel wire may be fixed to the uneven support bed (3). Projecting upright from the base is a threefold (2) stud (1). A cap (5), which has an internal thread (6) to match the internal thread on the stud, may be run up and down the stud to the desired position. The cap may have a central pointer (9) and can have openings within it to allow access to the base fixing screws. USE/ADVANTAGE - Foundation or base members on building may be adjusted in height.
