PURPOSE:To enable intuitive and simple understanding of a difference in characteristic values of adjacent crystal boundaries, by image-displaying the difference of the characteristic values of the adjacent crystal boundaries together with the crystal boundaries in terms of line width of the crystal boundaries corresponding to the difference. CONSTITUTION:The difference in characteristic values of adjacent crystals is image-displayed in terms of line widths of respective crystal boundaries. An image of a crystal bearing measuring sample in fine area by a scanning electron microscope or a developed image thereof to be measured is subjected to an image processing and according to the resulting digital image, the measuring sample is automatically driven and X-ray Kossel diffraction images at measuring points are inputted into an image memory sequentially. After the image processing, the bearing of the crystal in a fine area where the digitization of the measuring sample is done is automatically analyzed. Crystal bearing color map generating device is used to automatically calculate the bearing difference of adjacent crystal particles on a map. According to the bearing difference, the size of the crystal boundary in a crystal bearing color map is displayed by varying the size thereof. |
