<p>A radio-controlled craft includes a shielding means (S) disposed generally between a radio receiver unit (22) and an electrically powered propulsion unit (12) of the craft: the shielding means (S) comprises a body formed of a quantity of lead shot encapsulated in plastics material. The appropriate position of the body of lead shot is determined experimentally, but the body then effectively shields the radio receiver unit from spurious electromagnetic radiation generated by the propulsion unit.</p> |
