Rapid fastening seal for pressure vessel test - has sealing piston and pressure space , inside fitting, linked to vessel via leakage duct

The rapid fastener is applied to the test port via a threaded plug (6) screwed to the inside of the port or via an outer threaded cap. The fitting includes a sealing piston (1) and a pressure space (1.1) inside the fitting. The pressure space is linked to the vessel via a leakage duct (6.1), with the piston face on the pressure space side larger than the sealing face. The differential pressure on the piston presses the piston onto the seals (7) around the test port. No separate sealing compound etc. is required. USE/ADVANTAGE - Esp. for pressure vessels,pipelines,boilers. Simple to fit and remove, no additional sealing required.
