Wall mounted water heater with lead for mains connection - has chamber in back of heater in which plug lead is stored and which has side cable outlet

The wall mounted water heater has a connector cable (6) with a plug (7) for plugging into a mains supply. The cable has a long lead (11) to simplify connection of the heater to the mains. A chamber (8) is provided in a back (4) of the heater housing (2) nearest the wall. The length of cable lead is laid in the chamber. The chamber has a side opening (12) as a cable outlet. The chamber pref. extends between the two sides (9,10) of the housing. The length of cable laid in the chamber may be clamped in place inside the chamber. ADVANTAGE - Used to connect heater to nearby or remote mains socket. If socket is near, excess cable is stored out of way in chamber and only length necessary to reach socket is pulled out.
