Determining climatic data for imminent, short duration local weather forecasts - deriving thermal balance plots from incident long-wave and short-wave radiation energy and thermal flow

The method involves plotting an actual thermal balance for a user location with specific geographical characteristics from the shortwave and longwave radiation energy falling on the ground and ambient air and the anthropogenous thermal flow at the location. The anticipated variations in temp. of ambient air and ground are derived from weighting figures for heating and cooling of the ground and air and the dew formation or evaporation evaluated from the energy associated with the thermal balance. USE/ADVANTAGE - For use in the control of weather-dependent control systems, e.g. air conditioning systems. Systems can be controlled in timely and rapid manner, enabling energy savings to be achieved.
