Opening window on buildings with glass facades - is used where neighbouring fixed glazing elements overlap and conceal structural frame

The opening window (2) is used in a building which incorporates a glass facade. The movable window element may be bounded on at least three sides by fixed glazing elements (4). The fixed glazing elements are positioned such that they project over and conceal the uprights (5) and beams of the structural framework of the building. USE/ADVANTAGE - Glazed facade construction of building allows the introduction of an opening window without upsetting the uniformity of appearance.
