Method to clean esp. ship's hulls - uses upright rotating brushes on gate, sides, base of dry/wet dock

The method is for the cleaning of surfaces of bodies, which are permanently in the water, e.g. ships. The ship (11) is moved along a zone, which contains a rotating brush device (12) at right angles to the movement direction of the ship. The brushes are driven in and/or against the movement direction. The speed of the drive can be set and/or regulated. The ship to be cleaned moves several times relative to the brush device. The brush device is located at right angles to the access opening (14) of a dock (13), on the dock side (15) or its base (16). USE/ADVANTAGE - Environmentally friendly ship cleaning system. Ship can be cleaned when in water.
