The tank is esp. for Diesel fuel. It is located under the cab of a utility or agricultural vehicle. It has a device for filling and ventilating during filling, via a filler socket, which is accessible from the side of the vehicle, near the floor. The fuel tank (5) has a deep-drawn constriction (1) near its top, behind the filler area. The filler socket (2) has a filler tube (4), which extends to below the deepest part of the tank constriction. A compensation tank (7) is located at the end of the fuel tank, away from the socket. It is connected to the socket via a filling ventilation tube (9). USE/ADVANTAGE - Increased filling speed of fuel tank for Diesel vehicle without the formation of foam.
