Compounds of the formulae (Ia) and (Ib) <IMAGE> in which the radicals R1, independently of one another, are hydrogen or methyl, the radicals R2 are C1-C20-alkyl groups, which are optionally substituted by one or more hydroxyl groups, C6-C14-aryl groups or halogen atoms, a phenyl group, which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or more C1-C6-alkyl groups, hydroxyl groups or halogen atoms, or radicals of the formula -CH2-OR3, in which R3 is a C1-C20-alkyl group, which is optionally substituted by one or more hydroxyl groups, C6-C14-aryl groups or halogen atoms, a phenyl group, which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or more C1-C6-alkyl groups, hydroxyl groups or halogen atoms, a C2-C6-alkenyl group, a C2-C20-acyl group or a cyclohexyl carbonyl group which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or more C1-C6-alkyl groups, hydroxyl groups or halogen atoms, Z is a group of the formulae (IIa) - (IIe) <IMAGE> in which Y is a direct bond, C1-C6-alkylene, -S-, -O-, -SO-, -SO2- or -CO-, and R1 is hydrogen or methyl, and in which the aromatic or cycloaliphatic rings of the formulae (IIa) - (IIe) are unsubstituted or substituted by one or more C1-C6-alkyl groups, chlorine atoms or bromine atoms, form, in combination with other acrylates or methacrylates, low-viscosity, photocurable compositions and, after complete curing of the mixtures, give mouldings having excellent flexibility.
