<p>An editing system for selectively recording play signals from plural reproducing apparatuses via a switcher. In an editing data setting mode, the source data of the editing data are compared to one another at an arbitrary time juncture of issuance of tracing instructions, the respective editing data are automatically corrected on the basis of the results of comparison so that the number of times of dubbing is minimized, and the operations of the reproducing apparatuses, recording device and the switcher are controlled based on the corrected editing data. <IMAGE></p> |
