PURPOSE:To reduce consumption of electric power for water treatment without deteriorating treatment performance. CONSTITUTION:A water treating equipment is equipped with an ozone reaction tank 1 and a biological activated carbon treating tank 2 respectively described below. In the ozone reaction tank 1, ozonized gas is brought into contact with introduced water to. perform ozone treatment therefor. In the biological activated carbon treating tank 2, the water treated by ozone in the ozone reaction tank is purified by biological activated carbon held in the inside thereof. In the water treating equipment, introduction of ozonized gas and introduction of air or oxygen are changed over and performed per one day for the ozone reaction tank 1. Introduction of ozonized gas is regulated to at least 10 hours/ day. |
