PURPOSE:To sufficiently secure the length of a footrest and a space at one's foot in the lower part of the front end of a cushion and make the footrest movable under the driving control of the motor. CONSTITUTION:Motors M1, M2 are drivingly controlled in order or simultaneously under a specified condition by the operation of an operation switch 12. The motors M1, M2 are drivingly controlled to make a footrest 16 movable between a housing position along the lower face of a seat cushion 18 and a supporting position which is protruded toward the front end of the seat cushion and rotated as much as a specified angle. In addition, when the contact of the footrest 16 with an obstacle during the movement of the footrest 16 is detected through a tape switch 28, the motors M1, M2 can be immediately stopped. |
