PURPOSE: To provide a carrier catalyst simply preparable, excellent in impact stability and maintaining activity for a long time by catalytically treating a gaseous media at a temp. lower than the specified temp. CONSTITUTION: The carrier catalyst includes a carrier body formed by a metal foil of a max. 0.5 mm thickness and having at least two tubular passages for passing a gaseous media to be treated, wherein the support is lower about 10 mm of the tublar passages, a substance having catalytic activity at a temp. lower than about 100 deg.C and with a particle size smaller than about 0.5 mm and a coating, which is on the metal foil, having a action for adhering the catalytic substance onto the carrier and an org. substance with continuous elasticity. The gaseous media is treated catalytically at a temp. lower than about 100 deg.C. |
