PURPOSE:To prevent a sudden change of a vehicle action when a central processing means runs away or stops in a differential limiting control device which gives a differential limiting force from the external, and performs differential limiting control in accordance with specified control conditions. CONSTITUTION:A device comprises a fail-safe means (f) to reduce a brake force by instruction from a differential limiting controller (b) when an abnormality is detected by an abnormality detecting circuit (e) to detect runaway or stoppage of a central processing means (a).
