SAFETY DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC OPEN/CLOSE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To detect the insertion of a foreign matter between the end edge of an electric open/close part and a fixed frame by detecting the insertion of the foreign matter by a pressure sensitive sensor and detecting the electric open/close part not in a closed state by a position sensor and also either in a restrained state of a motor or a state near to this restrained state. CONSTITUTION:It is detected that a foreign matter 10 is inserted between an end edge 4 and a window frame 1 by that a pressure perceive sensor 3 is pushed under pressure by the foreign matter 10 inserted between the end edge 4 of the window pane 2 and a window frame 1. When a limit switch 5 detects that the window pane 2 stays at the other position than a closing end edge, the foreign matter 10 is detected inserted between the end edge 4 and the window frame 1 either in a restrained state of a motor 9 or in the state near to this restrained state. The states are caused to the motor 9 by the insertion of the foreign matter between the end edge 4 and the window frame 1.
