PURPOSE:To protect a connection member for pretensioner operation from being exposed to injecting combustion flames at the time of gas generator operation. CONSTITUTION:Constitution is made up of a piston 2 which is provided slidably in a cylinder 1 and determines dividingly a gas chamber R, a gas generator 3 which injects combustion gas into the gas chamber R, and a connection member 4 which connects the piston 2 to the operation portion of a seat belt device. At the time of gas generator operation, the place of the connection member 4 to be exposed to injecting combustion gas flames is covered with a covering means 5 against injection. |
