RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR SIDEWALL

摘要

PURPOSE:To prepare the title compsn. which is resistant to staining due to an amine antioxidant contained in the compsn. even under an acidic or alkaline condition by compounding a specific nonionic surfactant into the compsn. contg. the antioxidant. CONSTITUTION:A rubber compsn. contg. at least one rubber selected from the group consisting of natural and synthetic diene rubbers (e.g. a styrene- butadiene copolymer rubber) and an amine antioxidant [e. g. N-phenyl-N'-(1,3- dimethylbutyl)-p-phenylenediamine] is compounded with an other type nonionic surfactant of a polyoxyethylene. The surfactant migrates to the surface of a rubber good made from the compsn., such as a tire, and thus protects the surface from staining due to the antioxidant even under an acidic or alkaline condition.
