PURPOSE:To obtain an image-receiving medium for sublimable thermal transfer recording which peels off a color sheet smoothly after image transfer/recording by forming, at least, an image-receiving layer with a liquid blend of thermoplastic resin and a liquid or semi-solid silicon compound applied to the surface of the medium. CONSTITUTION:At least, an image-receiving layer is provided by applying a blend liquid of thermoplastic resin (e.g. polyethyleneterephthalate) and a liquid or semi-solid silicon compound to the surface of the base of an image-receiving medium for sublimable thermal transfer/recording. Consequently, the image- receiving medium thus obtained demonstrates smooth peel-off properties with a color sheet after image transfer/recording. |
