PURPOSE: To automate a stock bobbin transporting system by transporting and feeding the bobbin holders loaded with stock bobbins for weft yarn up to looms requiring the fresh stock bobbins among in loom groups via a transport loop and transporting an empty bobbin tube. CONSTITUTION: At the time of transport and feed of the stock bobbins for the weft yarn, the bobbin holders 12 loaded with the weft-yarn stock bobbins 4 are transported via the transport loop 7 to the standby position in a storage section 7c. A transport mechanism 10 is moved to the transport position associated with the corresponding loom in the loom groups 1a to 1n in accordance with the signal from a controller and thereafter, the bobbin holder 12 existing in the standby position is moved to the loading position of the intended loom via the transport loom 7 and the stock bobbins 4 are supplied via the loading mechanism, simultaneously, the empty bobbin tube is taken out and is moved backward to the storage section 7c described above.
