METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR BONDING REINFORCEMENT MEMBERS TO FRP PANELS A method and apparatus is disclosed for bonding fiber reinforced plastic exterior automotive body panels to reinforcement members using an uncured thermosetting adhesive placed between mating surfaces of the panel and the member, the resulting assembly being placed between two electrodes to which a high frequency signal is applied to dielectrically heat the adhesive to cure it.
