PURPOSE: To provide a wear resistant covered paper feed roller with a rough microstructure surface to prevent the roller from slipping to obtain friction. CONSTITUTION: The cylindrical base body 2 of this paper feed roller 1 made of rat iron or steel is covered by a jacket 3 comprising a first layer 4 to cover the surface of the base body 2 made of superpolymer synthetic resin and a second layer 5 comprising the identical base material advantageous as the support material for glass spheres mixed in as a single layer. Thereby slipping is securely prevented and releasing or adhering of ink is blocked on the surface or reduced.
