PURPOSE: To obtain a disposable material for toilet, which can be disposed in a toilet bowl by adding an alkali to the water in the toilet bowl, by composing a disposable material of an alkali soluble carboxylated acrylic polymer and an alkali resistant polyvinylidene chloride. CONSTITUTION: An Ostomy bag is formed of two sheets 2, 4 of the same material, which are heat-sealed at a part near an outer end 6 thereof. Each sheet is formed of a continuous nonporous layer 12 of a carboxylated acrylic polymer, and the sheet 12 generally has a thickness at about 100μm. An inner surface 16 of its opposite layer 12 has a thin film of continuous nonporous layer 18 of a polyvinylidene chloride having thickness at about 2-3μm, namely, thinner than the layer 12. Since the layer 18 gives the remarkably effective odor barrier characteristic, it is formed of a remarkably thin layer. In the case where a bag is full-filled, pH of the water of a toilet is raised to about 10, and the bag 1 is thrown away into a toilet bowl. Surface of the bag 1 is wet by the surface active agent and an alkali, and the outer layer 12 is solved or decomposed.
