PURPOSE:To obtain an information recording medium which allows data to be recorded through repeated deletion and a full-color image to be provided by providing a thermal recording layer with reversibly changing transparency on one surface of a supporting body, and a thermally transferred/recorded print receiving layer on the other. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording layer 2 which indicates reversibly changing transparency at varying temperature consists of a resin material and an organic low molecular substance dispersed in the resin material as main ingredients on one surface of a supporting body such as transparent or white plastic film or paper. In addition, a thermally transferred/recorded print receiving layer 3 is provided on the opposite surface of the supporting body 1 to obtain an information recording medium. Alternately, a coloring layer 4 or a light reflection layer (Al evaporated layer) 5 are provided on one surface of the supporting body, and the reversibly changing thermal recording layer 2 is formed on the former. At the same time, the thermally transferred/recorded print receiving layer 3 is provided on the opposite surface to obtain the information recording medium. The optimal organic low molecular substance blended in the thermal recording layer 2 is alkanol, alkane diol or alkylamine. |
