PURPOSE: To provide a mounting and connection arrangement for a fuel injection pump in large reciprocating internal combustion engines, especially in large diesel engines with several cylinders, which include separate injection pumps for separate cylinders and in which the injection pump is supported to a support table or to a corresponding element forming an integral part of an engine block, or fixed to the engine block. CONSTITUTION: An injection pump 1 is fixed on a support table 3 by making use of a support unit 2. The support unit is also provided with guiding means 4 for one or several control or pressure medium systems in association with operation of an engine. These guiding means include a first channel 7 for feeding fuel into the pump, a second channel 8 serving as a return channel, guiding means for valve lifting arm 5 and/or lubrication channels 9. |
