beta -Lactam antibiotics of the formula I and their pharmaceutically compatible salts <IMAGE> with X = (CH2)o-2, CR(a)R(b), O, SOo-2, NR(c> R(1), R(2) and R(3) a large number of substituents are excellent antibiotics with remarkably good antibacterial efficacy both against Gram-positive and against Gram-negative organisms. They have high stability towards renal dehydropeptidase. They are obtained by cyclisation of the compounds II <IMAGE> or III <IMAGE>. |
