PURPOSE:To provide the subject composition excellent in heat and oxidation stabilities, more particularly, such a composition for an internal combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:A long-drain lubricating oil composition containing 5-100wt.% pyromellitic ester as an essential component in its base oil, and such a composition for use in an internal combustion engine. This composition can be used for a long time (long-drain) and is useful for the reduction in the labor of lubricating oil administration and for the saving of resources. |
