<p>PURPOSE:To effectively reduce oxygen content in molten metal and to remarkably reduce consumption of a solid reduction agent by forcedly pushing and dipping the solid reduction agent into molten metal, increasing the contact area between the molten metal and the solid reduction agent and promoting reducing reaction in the molten metal. CONSTITUTION:This reduction method is the one, in which after uniformly spreading the solid reduction agent of charcoal, etc., on surface of the molten copper or copper alloy, the solid reduction agent on the molten metal surface is forcedly pushed and dipped into the molten copper or copper alloy, and by increasing the contact, area between the solid reduction agent and the molten metal to promote the reaction, the oxygen content in the molten metal is effectively reduced.</p> |
