<p>PURPOSE:To lift an equipment horizontally held by synchronously driving both lift driving machines in an elevator for construction provided with a long load carrying platform. CONSTITUTION:In a mesh driving type elevator for construction of providing a long load carrying platform 14 bridged between a pair of lift frames 11, 11 liftable by respective lift driving machines 17 guided by guide rails 2 additionally provided in a pair of supporting pillars 1, 1, two sets of two tensile ropes 20, 20 of almost equal length are cross-stretched between the lift frames 11, 11 in both sides of a provided part of the lift driving machine 17 of both the lift frames 11, 11. By generating a difference of tension between both the tensile ropes 20, 20, driving in a side tending to lead is automatically braked, so that the right/left lift driving machines 17, 17 can be synchronously driven. Accordingly, moving of both the right/left lift frames can be automatically synchronized by the difference of tension generated in both the tensile ropes, and simplification of a structure and lightness in weight of a conveying device can be contrived.</p> |
