PURPOSE:To embody an electrostatic latent image forming apparatus generating no lowering of printing quality and control the formation of an electrostatic latent image so as to generate no ghost. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic latent image forming apparatus is equipped with an electrostatic latent image carrier 14 having a dielectric layer 13 and a conductive layer 12, a main electrode 1 divided into a plurality of groups, the wiring connecting the main electrode corresponding to each of the main electrode groups and a distance control means 100 capable of controlling the gap between the main electrode and the electrostatic latent image carrier 14 in each main electrode group unit. |
