PURPOSE:To automatically reset the entire stage by providing suction devices on the downstream side of a capstan wheel and the upstream side of a take-up roll, respectively, and sucking the terminal of a wire-like body in the event of breakage. CONSTITUTION:A disconnection arises between the capstan wheel 13 and a screening roll 15 when a low-strength part exists in the wire-like body 12. The tension drop of this system is then immediately detected and the suction by a suction nozzle 31-1 is started. While a let-off roll 11 and the capstan wheel 13 decelerate and stop during this time, a suction nozzle 31-2 is operated on the take-up roll 17 side to treat the terminal of the wire-like body 12. On the other hand, the succeeding wire-like body 12 is gripped by a traversing wire setter 36 between the capstan wheel 13 and the suction nozzle 31. A guide rail 38 is moved to take up the wire-like body 12 to the upper part of the take-up roll 17 and thereafter, the wire-like body is fixed to the take-up roll 17. A capstan belt 14 is lowered to support the wire-like body 12 on the capstan wheel 13 and an arm 20 of a take-up dancer 19 is set oscillatable, by which the automatic resetting of the wire setting is completed. |
