PURPOSE:To obtain the subject film, composed of a copolymer of ethylene and an alpha-olefin having specific physical properties such as melt flow rate, excellent in rigidity, tensile strength, impact resistance, transparency, tear, creep and heat resistance and useful as a wire covering material, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective film satisfies (A) 0.01-200g/10min melt flow rate, (B) 0.900-0.945g/cm<3> density, (C) <=100 composition distribution parameter (U) expressed by formula I (Cw is the weight-average branching degree; Cw is the number-average branching degree), (D) >=1.05 ratio of the weight-average molecular weight (Mwh) of the component with a high ethylene content to the weight-average molecular weight (Mwl) of the component with a low ethylene content, etc., (E) plural melting points measured by a differential scanning type calorimeter(DSC) and the maximum temperature (T1) above the temperature expressed by formula II (d) is the density of the copolymer) and <=130 deg.C and (F)<=0.6 ratio (H1/HT) of the crystal melting heat quantity (H1) at the maximum melting point measured by the DSC to the whole crystal melting heat quantity (HT). |
