<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of defective cleaning owing to defective setting of a mounting member by providing a drive control means by which a conveyance roller is driven in a direction, in which the mounting member is energized-to the set position side, for a given time before a fed transfer sheet is conveyed to a conveyance roller. CONSTITUTION:When a front cover 10 is closed by a user after maintenance inspection processing, such as processing of jamming, a reset signal is outputted by a reset switch 7. According to the reset signal, a clutch 9 is engaged for a given time by a drive control means 8 to cause rotational drive of a conveyance roller 1. In this case, a frictional force between the peripheral surface of the conveyance roller 1 and a resilient member 5 is exerted as an energizing force in a direction in which a conveyance guide plate 3 is energized to the set position side through the resilient member 5. Thus, even when the conveyance guide plate 3 is not reliably set in a set position by a user, the conveyance guide plate 3 is automatically and reliably set in a set position through an energizing force generated by a frictional force.</p> |
