<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the adsorbing capacity of an adsorbing tower and to increase a gas adsorbing rate. CONSTITUTION:In an adsorbing tower wherein a container 1 is packed with a granular adsorbent 4, a cylindrical body 5 for a gas passage is provided in an adsorbent bed or cartridges are vertically received in the container over a plurality of stages and the cylindrical body 5 for the gas passage is provided in the adsorbent beds formed within the cartridges to form a plurality of upper and lower sections within the container and adsorbent beds 1 are formed within these sections and gas can be introduced into the upper section from the periphery thereof. The uppermost part of the adsorbent beds received over a plurality of stages is covered with a net to hold the upper surface of the adsorbent in the inside container to a horizontal surface even when the adsorbing tower is inclined on the way of transport.</p> |
