PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain the subject foam, having extremely fine cells and excellent in flexibility and heat insulating properties by using a foaming agent containing a specific difluoroethane acceptable in environmental protection and extrusion molding the resultant mixture. CONSTITUTION:The objective foam obtained by adding a mixture of 50-90mol% 1-chloro-1,1-difluoroethane with 10-50mol% dimethyl ether as a foaming agent and a higher fatty acid ester of a polyhydric alcohol as a dimensional stabilizer in an amount of 0.1-3 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. resin to a polyethylenic resin, melt mixing the resultant mixture in an extruder and extruding the obtained melt through the head of the extruder. |
