PURPOSE:To prevent the dilution of collected plasma with a priming liquid, by closing a valve by detecting a preset blood removing amount by the first detector. CONSTITUTION:A blood collecting needle H is connected to a blood donor. When the priming liquid in a membrane module 3 reaches the preset blood removing amount corresponding to an amount replaced with blood, a control apparatus 40 receives the detection signal from the first detector 5 not only to close a valve 2 but also to drive a plasma pump 8 and a recirculation pump 14. By this mechanism, the blood corpuscle component separated by the membrane module is further sent to the membrane module by a recirculation pump to be concentrated and a part of the concn. one is stored in a bag 6 and the plasma component is stored in a bag 7. When the control apparatus 40 further receives the detection signal from the first detector 5 and a blood removing amount reaches a predetermined value, a blood pump 4 is reversely driven to enter a blood return process. As mentioned above, by repeating the cycle of the blood removing process and the blood return process to collect the plasma component, the effect of dilution due to the priming liquid can be avoided. |
