PURPOSE: To provide a prosthesis for centralizing a vocal fold preliminarily molded into the prescribed size by forming the prosthesis with a slender molded coupling member extended in the longitudinal direction, and forming the coupling member with a vocal fold coupling face, a base section face, and opposite end sections arranged apart in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION: Prosthesis 10 is preferably formed with silicone, and it is formed with a slender coupling member 12 extended in the longitudinal direction. The coupling member 12 is provided with both end sections 14 separated in the longitudinal direction, a base section face 18, and a vocal fold coupling face 20 extended to the base section face 18. Edge sections 22, 24 are arranged apart in the lateral direction, and the base section face 18 and vocal fold coupling face 20 are arranged adjacently to each other. A slender tab section 26 is protruded from the base section face 18 and has the same spread as that of the base section face 18 in the longitudinal direction, and side wall sections 28, 30 and a floor section 32 having numerals and a mark 34 such as a size scale in mm, for example, are provided. The vocal fold coupling face 20 is inclined by the prescribed quantity, preferably 15.6 deg., against the base section face 18, and it is curved in the lateral direction from the edge section 22 to the edge section 24.
