PURPOSE:To make disinfecting/sterilizing action effective and to eliminate the wastefulness of ozone gas, by mounting an ozone gas outlet, an ozone killer, an ozone monitor, a recirculation pump and an inlet valve to a sterilizing chamber with a door having an ozonizer mounted therein. CONSTITUTION:A humidifier 12 and a humidifying pump 13 are connected to a sterilizing chamber 2 to form a recirculation circuit and humidifying valves 13', 14' are opened while the humidifying pump 13 is driven to impart humidity to the ozone gas in the sterilizing chamber 2 and the disinfecting action due to the ozone gas is made active. Further, an ozonizer 15 is provided to the inner wall surface of the sterilizing chamber 2. This ozonizer 15 is constituted so that high frequency high voltage is applied to both electrodes 17, 18 to generate creepage discharge 20 on the surface of the planer dielectric body 16 on the side of a linear corona discharge electrode and the pure oxygen or oxygen in air preliminarily supplied to the sterilizing chamber 2 is ozonized to generate ozone gas. By this method, the generation efficiency of the ozone gas becomes extremely well, and disinfection and sterilization are well performed. |
