PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compound having excellent herbicidal effects and high safety to human, animals and crops. CONSTITUTION:A derivative of formula I (R<1> to R<3> are H, halogen, lower alkyl, etc.; R<4> and R<5> are lower alkyl, lower alkenyl or R<5> and R<6> are bonded to give lower alkylene constituting ring) such as 1-di-n-propylcarbamoyl-3-(3,5- dimethyl-1-pyrazolyl)sulfonyl-1,2,4-triazole. The compound of formula I, for example, is obtained by reacting a compound of formula II (X is halogen) with a compound of formula III in the presence of a dehydrohalogenating agent (preferably 1-2 equivalents based on compound of formula II) in a solvent (e.g. benzene) preferably at 20-70 deg.C. |
