PURPOSE:To allow a mobile object terminal equipment itself to grasp a current location on a map by acquiring the current location information through the communication from the mobile object terminal equipment to a mobile body exchange and displaying the information on a screen as map information. CONSTITUTION:When an outline map of a current location is not in existence, mobile object terminal equipments 407a-407c retrieve the system at the side of a radio line control station 405 and displays an outline map and a detailed map onto a screen of a display means. Moreover, when the outline map is already in existence, it is displayed and when the detailed map is required, the system of the control station 405 is retrieved. When the system retrieval is implemented, map information is outputted to a file of the terminal equipments 407a-407c through the selection. The terminal equipments 407a-407c themselves recognize the current location by making communication from the terminal equipments 407a-407c to a mobile object exchange 404 to acquire the current location information and displaying the information on the screen as the map information in this way. Furthermore, since the up-to-date map is always obtained, it is not required to replace the map. |
