<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the overlay display device which can switch modes of an overlay display with simple constitution and also easily alters the mode contents of the overlay display. CONSTITUTION:The overlay display device is equipped with a main image memory 3 which is stored with main image information and outputs it at specific timing, subordinate image information memories 4a, 4b, and 4c which output subordinate image information at timing synchronized with the output of the main image information, and a palette memory 6 which is stored with image display information as data in addresses based upon the main image information outputted by the memory image information memory and the subordinate image information outputted by the subordinate image information memories.</p> |
