PURPOSE:To improve the stability of the working pressure of an exhaust mechanism and increase yield, in an angular small-sized sealed battery equipped with the exhaust mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Four inside projection surfaces which project inside are formed by cutting-working the upper half part of the angular side surface of the terminal cap 1 of an angular small-sized sealed battery. An elastic valve body 2 accommodated in the terminal cap 1 is positioned at a desired position by the inside projection surface, and the working pressure of an exhaust mechanism can be stabilized. Since the need of forming a projection part for positioning on the elastic valve body 2 is obviated, the shape can be made simple, and the mass production performance can be improved. |
