PURPOSE:To prevent confusion caused by increase and decrease on a display and excess copies by, taking account of the timing of the subtraction from the displayed number of sheets, setting the timing of the receiving of the number of copies set by means of the depression of a copying start key, in the device which starts copying by depressing the copying start key plural times. CONSTITUTION:After copying, during which the setting of copying on plural sheets can be received, is started by continuously turning on the copying start key 34 which instructs to start copying, a sheet of paper P reaches a resist roller pair to be detected by a paper stop switch PS. Each time the paper stop switch PS detects a sheet of paper P, 'one' is subtracted from the indicated number of sheets. |
