PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of dendrite to a lithium electrode at the charging time so as to improve charge-discharge efficiency by mixing diester phosphite into an organic solvent to use this as an electrolytic solvent. CONSTITUTION:A lithium secondary battery is formed of a negative electrode 3 with lithium metal or a lithium alloy as active material, and a positive electrode 5 with a metallic oxide, a metallic sulfide, or the like as active material through an organic electrolyte and a separator 4. In this lithium secondary battery, diester phosphite is mixed into an organic solvent such as ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate or dimetoxiethane so as to be used as an electrolytic solvent. The content ratio of diester phosphite to the electrolyte is 1-20vol.%. The lithium-electrolyte interface different from the case of having only the organic solvent is thereby formed to suppress the generation of dendrite to the lithium electrode and thereby to improve charge-discharge efficiency. |
