PURPOSE:To obtain a liquid crystal display part which can execute a distinct display in both of a bright part and a dark part without generating increase of power consumption by forming a display part reflecting plate consisting of a liquid crystal display with a backlight so as to be freely attachable and detachable. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic apparatus driven by a battery, a reflecting plate 6 of a liquid crystal display(LCD) 4 of a display part is freely attachable and detachable, and in a bright part, by installing the reflecting plate 6, and also, turning off a backlight 5, a dispaly of a total reflection type LCD can be executed, and in a dark place, by detaching the reflecting plate 6, and also, turning on the backlight 5, a display of a total transmission type LCD can be executed. Accordingly, by using properly the display of the total reflection type LCD, and the display of the total transmission type LCD, a more distinct display than that of a semitransmission type LCD can be executed. Moreover, by using them properly in such a manner, electric power can be used efficiently, and power consumption can be reduced. |
