<p>PURPOSE:To provide the coordinate input device equipped with a comact, light and wireless vibrating pen having high operability. CONSTITUTION:A vibrating pen 3 is provided with built-in vibrator 4, vibrator driving circuit 2 and power source 25 and constituted wireless from a main body part to calculate coordinates corresponding to the outputs of vibration sensors 6. The cycle of starting measuring the transmission time of vibrations detected at the vibration sensors 6 is made equal to the cycle of intermittently inputting vibrations from the vibrating pen 3, and concerning timing for inputting the vibrations from the vibrating pen 3 to a vibration transmitting board 8 provided with the vibration sensors 6, the vibrations inputted from the vibrating pen 3 are transmitted to an arithmetic control circuit 1 at the main body by executing the input at a prescribed position such as the position of a pen holder 81. Thus, driving timing for inputting the vibrations from the vibrating pen 3 and starting timing for measuring the vibration transmission time on the main body side in the same cycle is synchronized.</p> |
