<p>PURPOSE:To exchange data with another terminal in addition to the function of a conventional optical mouse device by combining a converter, which converts data from a processor, to the preceding step of the light emitting element of the conventional optical mouse device. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 1 is connected to a converter 2, and the converter 2 is connected to an external processor 8. This device is composed of light receiving elements 3 and 4 to respectively detect the longitudinal and lateral displacement of the device, converter 5 to converting the signal change to information showing the displacement of the device, and button 6 to instruct the processor 8, and the light emitting element 1, light receiving elements 3 and 4 and button 6 are fixed to a mouse device 7. Thus, data communication is enabled with the auxiliary terminal provided with light receiving elements and a light emitting elements at positions respectively corresponding to the light emitting element 1 and the light receiving elements 3 and 4 on the mouse device 7.</p> |
