PURPOSE:To provide a finder where change given to the detection of the line of sight by the adjustment of the diopter of the finder is restrained to be small even when a part of an optical element constituting the finder is moved in order to adjust the diopter of the finder and the direction of the line of sight is detected under a fixed condition regardless of the adjusted diopter. CONSTITUTION:A light projecting optical system 10 for making light for measurement incident on an eye 3 through a part of the finder is provided. Then, a light receiving optical system 20 which is provided with a CCD line sensor receiving reflected light from the eye 3 and detects the direction of the line of sight, and a diopter adjusting mechanism for moving at least a part of an eyepiece 2 in an optical axis direction while keeping a state where the light for measurement is made incident on the eye 3 as the flux of parallel light rays are provided. |
