PURPOSE: To make information visible through a hologram by imparting many discontinuous regions having substantially the densities in the range of 9.84 to 157.48 per centimeter. CONSTITUTION: A character 13 is shown as ink printed on the surface of a substrate 11 and the hologram 17 includes a transparent plastic film 21 having relief patterns 23 within the plane inclusive of the object information of the hologram 17. The reflection material, the discontinuous layer 25 of usually aluminum is held by the relief patterns 23 on the surface. Further, an adhesive layer 27 securely mounts the surface relief patterns 23 and the exposed parts of reflection parts 25 to the substrate 11. The dot intervals expressed by the number (dot) of the reflection dots 25 per 1 centimeter exist substantially within the range from 9.84 to 157.48 according to the desired special effect. As a result, the hologram 17 makes sufficient reflection and the images reproduced like the hologram are distinctly visible. The visualized information under the hologram 17 of the article to be safeguarded is distinctly visible and is legible.
