Oil for plastic forming of metals composed of known viscosity additives, depressants, anti-foaming, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, characterised in that it consists of 1 to 40 weight parts of post-distillation residue of acid value below 3 mg KOH/g, saponification number 10 to 80 mg KOH/g, hydroxyl value 20 to 120 mg KOH/g and iodine number 5 to 65 J2/100g obtained in the process of dedistillation of alcohols, consisting 22 atoms of carbon in a molecule from post-reaction mixture after hydrogenation of fatty acids to fatty alcohols and separation of catalyser, 1 to 50 weight parts of fatty acids esters, consisting 12 to 22 atoms of carbon per molecule and aliphatic alcohols, consisting up to 8 atoms of carbon per molecule, 5 to 95 weight parts of petroleum oils of viscosity 5 to 40 mm<2>/s in the temperature of 100 degrees Celsius and combustion temperature above 200 degrees Celsius and up to 20 weight parts of known viscosity additives, depressants, anti-foaming, oxidation and corrosion inhibitors.
